Sanjay Kumar is a highly accomplished corporate attorney specializing in cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law. With a diverse practice that spans various sectors and jurisdictions, Sanjay has represented clients in the United States, Europe, Singapore, Korea, Russia, Japan, Australia, and beyond. His expertise lies in advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including takeovers, buyouts, private equity transactions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, stock and asset acquisitions, restructurings, corporate governance, and commercial agreements.

Sanjay’s legal journey began in 1999, and he has since gained valuable experience in both law firms and corporate settings. Prior to joining the TMT Law Practice in New Delhi as a Partner, he served as a Partner at King Stub Kasiba in Mumbai and as a Counsel at J Sagar Associates, also in Mumbai. His corporate experience includes positions as Senior Legal Counsel at Ranbaxy Laboratories in Gurgaon, General Counsel at Piramal Imaging GMBH & Piramal Imaging Inc in Berlin and Boston, General Counsel at Hetero Labs in Hyderabad, Head of Legal at GSK in Hyderabad, and General Counsel at Emcure Pharma in Pune.
